An Operator's Record / Vol. 01

Brokerage operations, regulation, and the people who run them.

A real estate operations executive, broker, and educator working at the intersection of brokerage leadership, regulatory compliance, training, and the systems that help Ontario real estate businesses scale responsibly. 01 The Mandate

Three disciplines, one practice.

Most real estate professionals are known for one lane. My work has been built across three: running brokerage operations, building compliant systems, and teaching the people entering the profession. Together, those disciplines form a single mandate: helping real estate organizations scale responsibly while protecting both professionals and consumers.

i.

Operations

Designing the systems, workflows, staff structures, reporting rhythms, and supervision frameworks that move a brokerage from informal to scalable. This includes transaction processing, agent support, administrative operations, technology integration, and KPI-led performance management.

ii.

Compliance

Translating TRESA, RECO, FINTRAC, trust accounting, trade record review, registrant supervision, and brokerage policy into practical systems that people can actually follow. Compliance should not live only in manuals. It should be built into the way the brokerage operates every day.

iii.

Education

Delivering and supporting RECO-approved curriculum with a focus on practical readiness. Training instructors, supporting cohort-based learners, and helping new salespeople understand how legislation, ethics, paperwork, and judgment show up in real transactions.

TRESA, RECO, FINTRAC, supervision, trade record review, trust account oversight, disclosure practices, policy development, and the systems that help keep a brokerage accountable.

Broker-of-Record Function

Practical experience with active brokerage management, registrant supervision, trade record sign-off, trust account controls, monthly reconciliations, and the integrity of brokerage records.

Agent Training & Onboarding

Training programs, new-agent experiences, roleplay, paperwork practice, scenario-based learning, and support for the moments where judgment matters.

Technology Integration

Selection, configuration, and integration of the platforms that brokerages rely on, including CRM, transaction management, document workflow, compliance review, reporting, and administrative systems.

Leadership & Mentoring

Supporting brokers, salespeople, instructors, and administrative teams through the practical pressures of operating, teaching, and growing inside Ontario real estate.

06 The Work

Problems I help solve.

My work is most useful where real estate organizations have outgrown informal systems and need clearer structure, stronger accountability, or more practical training.

Brokerages scaling faster than their systems

When agent count, transaction volume, staff responsibilities, and compliance obligations grow faster than the original operating model.

Compliance processes that rely too much on memory

When the brokerage needs repeatable workflows for trade record review, trust records, FINTRAC, supervision, document handling, and internal accountability.

Onboarding that does not produce practice-ready agents

When new agents receive information but not enough structure, judgment, roleplay, paperwork practice, or transaction context.

Transaction review workflows that need consistency

When files are being reviewed, but the process depends too heavily on individuals instead of clear standards, checklists, escalation points, and accountability.

Education delivery that needs stronger facilitation

When curriculum exists, but learners need better discussion, practical examples, scenario-based teaching, and instructors who can connect the material to real practice.

Technology that needs operational reality

When a platform looks good in theory but needs input from someone who understands how brokers, administrators, agents, reviewers, and educators actually work.
